Landlord FAQs

The premise must have a main meter from the service provide ie KPLC or Local Water and sewerage company. however, this is not a requirement for those using solar as mains supply or private water boreholes.

Once these prepaid meters are installed, the tenants purchase tokens through MPESA paybill and receive the tokens generated from UMS vending system. At the end of the month, the total amount purchased in that month are sent to the registered verified landlord account by the 1st three working day of the following month to pay the utility provider
